Business Students Travel to India for Immersion Program

This January, The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) College of Business will send a group of students and faculty to India as part of an Immersion Study Program for the first time. It is also the first time UTSA will offer a study abroad opportunity during the winter break. Led by Lalatendu Misra, professor and chair of the UTSA Department of Finance, “Business Success in India” is a course designed to help students learn how business is conducted in India.

Prototype labor monitoring system team wins UTSA Technology Entrepreneurship Competition

A team of six business and engineering students triumphed at the $100,000 Student Technology Venture Competition presented by The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Center for Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship (CITE). The UTSA students developed a prototype electronic labor monitoring system and wrote a business plan to market the technology.
