The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) College of Business has partnered with the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) to be the Lead Academic Sponsor of its 25th Anniversary Annual Conference & Career Expo held in San Antonio on October 10 -12, 2013.

The UTSA College of Business has been active with NSHMBA since 2001. In 2006, the college received NSHMBA’s Brillante Award for Educational Excellence, its most prestigious award. In 2009, the college was named a University Partner of NSHMBA and has developed a strong partnership at the local and national levels by providing students with MBA-level scholarships as well as career and professional development opportunities.

“Our main focus in the UTSA College of Business is transforming our students into business professionals primed with analytical and leadership skills necessary to provide them with the opportunities to succeed professionally at a national level,” says UTSA College of Business Dean Gerry Sanders. “We are excited to serve as the academic lead for the 2013 NSHMBA Conference because it allows us to showcase our talented students to top national employers, spread awareness about the strength of our students and build upon current employer relationships.”

The NSHMBA career expo will offer current MBA students and recent graduates the opportunity to interview more than 2,000 human resource recruiters from top employers. Undergraduates attending the event will also benefit from UTSA’s participation by networking with admissions officers and faculty from MBA programs.
