The College of Business has appointed Yoris Au, chair of the Department of Information Systems and Cyber Security. Au, an associate professor, received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota.

Joining UTSA’s faculty in 2003, his areas of research include the economics of information systems, technology adoption and electronic/mobile payments.
Before joining academia, Au worked for 11 years in the information technology industry.
He will serve a three-year appointment.
