Dick Evans, chairman and CEO of Frost, will present the keynote address on Oct. 17 during the 25th anniversary celebration of the Frost Distinguished Lecture Series.

The lecture begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Richard S. Liu Auditorium (2.01.02) in the Business Building on the UTSA Main Campus. The event is free and open to the public.
As chairman of the board and CEO of Frost Bank and Cullen/Frost Bankers, Inc., Dick Evans has guided the San Antonio-based financial institution since his appointment as CEO in 1997. His longstanding career at Frost has included stints in the commercial loan, credit and marketing areas since joining the bank’s training program in 1971.
Under Evans’ leadership, Cullen/Frost has become a strong regional banking company increasing assets to more than $22 billion, expanding into new lines of business and services and growing its financial center network to more than 115 locations. Frost is now one of the 50 largest banks in the United States.
Evans is a member of the Federal Advisory Council to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, D.C. He is also a member of the board of directors of United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County, the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation and the San Antonio Medical Foundation.
A native of Uvalde, Evans graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor of business administration degree.
The Frost Distinguished Lecture Series brings prominent business and community leaders to UTSA to share their experiences in business so that students and business leaders can broaden their understanding of the business world and the individuals who lead it.
