UTSA Team Places Third in National Supply Chain Competition

A team of students from the Carlos Alvarez College of Business at UTSA placed third in the Historically Black College (HBCU) and Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) National Supply Chain case competition held at Arizona State University. Ten teams participated in the competition.

Howe Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award during the University Excellence Awards event last month.

Joshua Lazaro Prepares for his Ph.D. and Career at the CDC

From clearing Rocky Mountain trails to attending medical research programs at Stanford and Yale, Joshua Lazaro will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in statistics and data science with a concentration in biology this May. His next stop will be beginning his Ph.D. at Stanford University and career at the Center for Disease Control this fall.

Starting her own marketing company at just 15 years old, Anna Almaraz has a heart for servant leadership and entrepreneurship. Graduating this May with her B.B.A. degree in marketing from the Carlos Alvarez College of Business at UTSA, Almaraz looks forward to her internship with H-E-B this summer and heading back to school in the fall for her MBA.

College's MBA Programs Ranked by CEO Magazine

The Executive MBA (EMBA) program in the Carlos Alvarez College of Business at UTSA was ranked No. 13 globally and fourth in the United States by CEO Magazine in their 2023 Global MBA Rankings. The UTSA MBA was ranked as a Tier One Global MBA program. This is the fifth consecutive year that both programs were ranked.
