Amber Rudolph Named Outstanding Accounting Alumnus of the Year

Amber Rudolph, ’95, was named the Outstanding Accounting Alumnus of the Year at the 30th annual Department of Accounting Scholarship and Awards Celebration on Oct. 21. With 16 years of experience in auditing, financial reporting and accounting, Rudolph has worked with small privately held corporations and large multinational SEC registered companies. She also has significant experience with U.S. GAAP and U.S. GAAS. She is the director of internal audit at Pioneer Drilling Company.

Nancy Kudla to Present UTSA College of Business Frost Distinguished Lecture

Nancy Kudla, MBA ’87, president of the Kudla Foundation, will present the keynote address during The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Business Frost Distinguished Lecture. The lecture begins at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7 in the Richard S. Liu Auditorium (2.01.02) in the Business Building on the UTSA Main Campus. The event is free and open to the public.

UTSA Professorship Established in Honor of Real Estate Visionary

The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Business received a $250,000 gift from Steven and Bruce Lee to establish the Quincy Lee Professorship in Real Estate Finance and Development. The professorship was established in memory of their father, Quincy Lee, a pioneer in the construction of quality, low-cost housing in San Antonio who later became a leader in commercial and industrial development.

Ethics and Cyber Security to be Focus of UTSA College of Business Ethics Symposium

“The Ethical Dimensions of Cyber Security and Privacy” is the theme for the Business Ethics Symposium hosted by The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Business. The symposium will be held Wednesday, Oct. 26 and is free and open to the public. The daylong program will begin at 2 p.m. and conclude at 6:30 p.m. All lectures will be held in the Richard S. Liu Auditorium (2.01.02) in the Business Building on the UTSA Main Campus.
