CITE Named a National Science Foundation Innovation Corps Site

The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Center for Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship (CITE) has received funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) that will designate UTSA as an Innovation Corps (I-Corps) Site. UTSA is the first university in Texas to receive this distinction from the NSF.

Undergraduate Business Students Showcase Their Research

Fifteen business students participated in the inaugural UTSA Undergraduate Research & Creative Inquiry Showcase at the end of April. The conference was held to showcase the research capabilities of UTSA undergraduates. And, the end result for one student was a full-time job offer.

Mediflow Wins $100K Student Technology Venture Competition

Mediflow, a team comprised of seven undergraduates, triumphed at the $100K Student Technology Venture Competition presented by the UTSA Center for Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship (CITE). The UTSA students developed a prototype sleep apnea device and wrote a business plan to market the technology.
