Business Students Selected to Attend Nestle Leadership Symposium

University of Texas at San Antonio College of Business students Michelle Banks, Victor Camino and Salma Mendez were among only 30 students in the country selected from a pool of more than 250 applicants to participate in the 5th Annual Nestlé USA Leadership Symposium for Diverse Leaders of Tomorrow.

Ten UTSA teams comprised of business and engineering students will compete for $100,000 in cash and business-related services at the $100,000 Student Technology Venture Competition, hosted by the UTSA Center for Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship (CITE).

College of Business Names New Dean
Alvarez College of Business
Wm. Gerard (Gerry) Sanders, professor of strategic management at Rice University, has been named dean and Bodenstedt Chair of The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Business. He will begin his duties June 1, 2013.
