Elaine Mendoza to Present UTSA College of Business Frost Distinguished Lecture November 30

Elaine Mendoza, president and chief executive officer of Conceptual Mindworks, Inc., will present the keynote address during The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Business Frost Distinguished Lecture. The lecture begins at 11 a.m. Monday, November 30 in the Richard S. Liu Auditorium (2.01.02) in the Business Building on the UTSA Main Campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Medical Tech Start-up AidPro Sweeps UTSA New Business Competition

An engineering student developed the wound measurement technology. Four business students formulated the company. And now, after months of hard work, the five students who created tech start-up AidPro have won first place in The University of Texas at San Antonio’s $100,000 New Technology Venture Competition. The competition, organized by UTSA’s Center for Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship (CITE), gave students the chance to try on entrepreneurial careers and network with some of the city’s most influential business leaders.

UTSA's College of Business Nationally Ranked by BusinessWeek

The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Business was ranked as one of the top part-time MBA programs in the nation by BusinessWeek in its biennial business school rankings edition released today. Nationally, the UTSA College of Business part-time MBA program is ranked 28th. This is the second consecutive year that the UTSA College of Business has been ranked by BusinessWeek.
