Pre-Ph.D. Students Participate in The PhD Project Conference

Two UTSA Carlos Alvarez College of Business graduate students attended The PhD Project‘s annual conference in Chicago last year. The participants were Veronica Diaz, a MBA student, and Holly King, ’22 a graduate student in the master’s of economics program. They were two of only 180 students selected to participate nationwide.

The UTSA Carlos Alvarez College of Business recognized the outstanding contributions and accomplishments of faculty members in 2022 during the annual awards ceremony in January. Ten faculty members were honored for excellence in the areas of teaching, research and service.

Joe Broschak Named Chair of the Department of Management

Joe Broschak has been named chair and professor in the Department of Management in the Carlos Alvarez College of Business at UTSA. He will begin his duties on Sept 1.
