When it was time for Bianca Diaz to choose which university to attend after graduation, she had a hard time picking the right fit for her. Upon touring UTSA, interim dean of the Honors College, Jill Fleuriet, quickly made Diaz feel like she was back at home in the valley.

Fall 2022 Graduate Showcase: Daniel Reyna

Daniel Reyna,’18 earned his first bachelor’s degree in environmental science almost 10 years ago. But the COVID-19 pandemic prompted him to return to UTSA to follow his passion for biological advances and statistical data. Reyna, a native of El Paso, will graduate next week with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Data Science with a concentration in Biology from the Carlos Alvarez College of Business at UTSA.

Riley Hamilton Earns Her B.B.A. at the Age of 19
Alvarez College of Business
The beginning of Riley Hamilton’s college experience was anything but normal. Not only did she kick off her freshman year at UTSA during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, but she did so at the age of 17. Next week, Hamilton will earn her B.B.A. in Management, with a concentration in Human Resources Management, at just 19 years old.

Dominic Pastucci is no stranger to the Alamodome. As a former offensive tackle for the UTSA football team, Pastucci spent his undergraduate years dominating foes on the field with the back-to-back conference championship-winning Roadrunners.
