The UTSA College of Business has appointed Jennifer Suarez , BA ’96 as the associate director of the Center for Student Professional Development (CSPD).
Suarez will serve as the chief liaison to employers for career and internship opportunities. She will also oversee operations within the CSPD including the Career Action Program, student professional development workshops and employer forums.
A native of Saginaw, Michigan, Suarez retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Lt. Colonel following a 24-year career. She has served in a variety of assignments in Alabama, California, Colorado, Germany, Iraq, Panama and Texas.
“Jennifer’s significant leadership experience will be utilized to enhance our programming and strengthen our relationships with employers,” said Lisa Montoya , associate dean of undergraduate programs and entrepreneurship.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UTSA and a master’s degree in human relations from the University of Oklahoma. She is also a graduate of Air War College, the most senior professional military education school within the U.S. Air Force.
