The College of Business recognized the 100 Best Business Students during a reception in November attended by university administrators, alumni and business and community leaders. With over 5,000 undergraduate students in the College of Business, the 100 Best Business Students epitomize the top two percent of all business students in the college.

Undergrads Contend for $100,000 in Cash and Prizes in Technology Start-up Competition

Six University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) teams comprised of business and engineering students will compete for $100,000 in cash and business-related services at the $100,000 Student Technology Venture Competition, hosted by the UTSA Center for Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship (CITE) on Saturday, December 1. Competitors will be scored on the viability of their proprietary new technologies and the business plans they developed to market those technologies.

Leaders Share the Realities of Business with UTSA Students

The College of Business has launched a new mentoring program as part of an academic class offered by the Department of Management. The inaugural mentorship class, taught by Richard Sibbernsen, a retired senior vice president of human resources for AT&T, featured 13 juniors and seniors.
