wyatt Jeanie Wyatt , MBA ’86 was named Alumnus of the Year at the 13th annual UTSA Alumni Association gala this fall. She is the founder and chief executive officer of South Texas Money Management (STMM), a private investment company with approximately $1.8 billion in assets under management.

STMM has offices in San Antonio, Austin, Dallas and Houston. Prior to forming STMM, Wyatt was executive vice president and head of Frost Investment Services. Her total trust-banking career has spanned 27 years with three bank holding companies around the state.

Wyatt was selected as one of Barron’s Top 100 Independent Advisors in 2011—one of eight women to make the national ranking. She was elected San Antonio’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2003 by the Women’s Chamber of Commerce and is a Texas Business Hall of Fame honoree.

A chartered financial analyst, Wyatt serves on the UTSA Development Board and has an honors degree in actuarial science from the University of Texas at Austin.

The Alumnus of the Year Award was established in 1980 to recognize UTSA alumni who have gained unique distinction through their achievements.
