USAA_day The UTSA College of Business partnered with USAA to host a networking day for business students on Sept. 22. The event included table recruiting, presentations by more than 15 USAA executives to business students and a keynote networking luncheon.

Wayne Peacock , executive vice president of enterprise business operations at USAA, was the keynote presenter. Peacock shared insights from his career development, discussed skills required of today’s employees and highlighted recent innovations at USAA during the networking luncheon.

“We were proud to partner with USAA to host this networking event,” said Dean Lynda de la Viña . “Student success is one of my top priorities in the College of Business and by hosting events such as these we are helping students to expand their professional development opportunities and learn more broadly about career opportunities that are available.”

The event was co-sponsored by the college’s Center for Student Professional Development. More than 1,500 business students were impacted by the networking event.
