The UTSA College of Business MBA program was ranked one of the top 25 programs in the nation for Hispanics by Poder Enterprises .

The ranking was based on academic quality, selectivity, minority student enrollment, international curricula and the availability of professional business organizations. Consideration was also given to schools with highly rated Executive MBA programs and global business opportunities.

UTSA was noted for having excellent academic programs and student services for first generation and minority students, a large Hispanic faculty population and prestigious international affiliations.

Schools included in the ranking chronologically were Stanford, UT-Austin, Yale, UC Berkeley, New York University, UCLA, University of North Carolina, Duke, Columbia, Northwestern, University of Pennsylvania, Georgetown, Dartmouth, UTSA , University of Michigan, University of Rochester, University of Chicago, Southern Methodist University, USC, Emory, Harvard, University of Virginia, University of Florida, Cornell and the University of Miami.

Poder Enterprise is a publication for Hispanic leaders and decision makers. It offers analysis of business, economic and social trends.
