Looking to pursue a career in the intelligence community or within national security? The college's Intelligence Community Center for Academic Excellence program can provide you with the skills needed to tackle national security challenges head-on.

The college offers a track in Critical Technology Studies as part of the Master of Science Degree in Data Analytics program as well as a graduate certificate in Intelligence Studies in support of this career path. Both programs allow students to take specialized courses in intelligence studies and complete a hands-on practicum.

This program, which is sponsored by the Defense Intelligence Agency and Office of the Director of National Intelligence, is designed to prepare individuals for careers in the U.S. Intelligence Community.

Master of Science in Data Analytics Program

The Master of Science in Data Analytics  program focuses on data science and business intelligence-oriented analytics algorithms, tools, techniques and technologies.

The track in Critical Technology Studies allows students to specialize in intelligence studies.

M.S. Data Analytics Critical Technology Studies Program

This program allows students to specialize in intelligence studies by completing specialized national security courses and engaging in a hands-on practicum.

Curriculum

We offer six graduate-level courses on topics of national security and intelligence studies. All courses are taught by current or former employees of the national security sector.

NS 6003 - The Role of U.S. Intelligence in National Security 
Required for the MSDA CTSP Track and the Graduate Certificate in Intelligence Studies. Typically offered in spring and summer semesters.

NS 6223 - Analytical Writing, Reporting and Briefing for the Intelligence Community
Required for the Graduate Certificate in Intelligence Studies. Typically offered in the summer.

NS 6233 - Analytic Methods, Interpretation, Writing and Briefing of Intelligence
Required for the MSDA CTSP Track. Does not count toward a Graduate Certificate in Intelligence Studies. Typically offered in the summer.

NS 6503 - Intelligence Reasoning and Analysis
Required for the Graduate Certificate in Intelligence Studies. May count toward MSDA CTSP Track. Typically offered in fall and spring semesters.

NS 6523 - Methods in Intelligence Collection
Required for the Graduate Certificate in Intelligence Studies. Does not count toward MSDA CTSP Track. Typically offered in fall and spring semesters.

NS 6723 - National Security and Human-Digital Technology Relationships
