- Preference given to an applicant seeking an internship with a corporation. Individuals seeking a career or internship in the non-profit sector will not be considered.

- Must be enrolled full time, an exception may be granted by Carlos Alvarez College of business when recipient(s) is in his/her final semester before graduation and is enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours

Valero Energy Corporation Accounting Annual Scholarship

- Full-time student pursuing a degree in the Department of Accounting in the Carlos Alvarez College of Business
- Minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average
- Recipients must demonstrate a strong commitment to community service or volunteer work
by volunteering a minimum 10 hours per semester. - Preference will be given to students from populations that are demonstrably underrepresented in the accounting profession as per research conducted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Willard H. Findling, CPA , Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Accounting

- Declared graduate major in the Master’s of Accountancy program in the Carlos Alvarez College of Business
- Recipient(s) must be in their final year of study during the year in which the award is disbursed
- Recipient(s) must be planning to sit for their CPA license exam and plan to enter the accounting profession
- Must demonstrate outstanding achievements in academics, leadership and service
- Recipient(s) will be expected to acknowledge receipt of the award by attending the annual Carlos Alvarez College of Business Scholarship Reception
Dr. William D. Litzinger Endowed Memorial Scholarship
Award: Number and amount of awards vary
- Declared major in management in the Carlos Alvarez College of Business at the undergraduate level
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average
- Must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid
- Preference will be given to a first-generation college student
- Must be enrolled full time
William Mastoris, Jr. Endowed Business Scholarship

- Pursuing a degree in the Carlos Alvarez College of Business at the undergraduate or graduate level
- Undergraduates must have completed a minimum of 30 semester credit hours
