U.S. News and World Report Top 100 ranking
The ranking assessed overall academic quality of business programs based on survey responses from top business school officials. To appear on these surveys, undergraduate business programs must be accredited by AACSB International.
“This is exciting news for the college,” said Jonathon Halbesleben, dean of the Alvarez College of Business. “We’ve set an ambitious goal of becoming a top 50 public business school, and this is a step in the right direction.”
Rising 45 places this year, the college had the largest position increase of any of the ranked undergraduate business programs.
“As part of the college’s strategic plan, we’re focusing on improving student outcomes, continuing to build our research reputation and securing the resources we need to make this progress sustainable,” said Halbesleben. “We’ve made remarkable progress on all these fronts this year. That story is getting out among our peers, and it shows in our rankings.”
