Bio

John has thirty-three years of experience working in the financial services industry. He has served as a business leader, equity portfolio manager, pension fund chief investment officer, and actuary.

He is the Head of Fundamental Research for Two Centuries Investments, a small Registered Investment Advisor, Prior to his current role, John was the Head of Equities for USAA Investments, where he oversaw six actively managed equity strategies, $7.5 billion in AUM, and sixteen investment professionals. John has appeared as a subject matter expert on television (Bloomberg News, CNBC, Fox Business) and radio. Prior to USAA, he worked at AIG Investments and MetLife.

John currently serves on the Investment Committee and as chairperson of the Audit Committee for St. Luke's Lutheran Health Ministries in San Antonio.

His goal is to inspire young adults to learn more about financial markets and to help them improve their critical thinking skills.
