Bio

Gigi is a consumer anthropologist and mixed-methods User Experience (UX) researcher with extensive industry experience in consumer research. She has conducted research within advertising agencies, technology firms, and research consultancies.

Previously, she was an Assistant Professor of Advertising in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Texas State University, where she brought consumer anthropological perspectives into her teaching and research.

Drawing on her interdisciplinary training, Gigi's research integrates cultural analysis with marketing strategy, emphasizing how consumer and user experience insights inspire innovative approaches to marketing strategy. Her research has been published in Human Organization and Journal of Advertising Education and presented at the Society for Applied Anthropology, American Anthropology Association and American Academy of Advertising.
