Bio

Robbie Pearce is currently a Lecturer within the Information Systems and Cyber Security department at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Ms. Pearce obtained a Master's in Information Systems (M.I.S.) with an emphasis in Software Development and Cybersecurity from Nova Southeastern University, Florida, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This strong educational foundation serves as the bedrock for Ms. Pearce's commitment to fostering a deep understanding with a unique insight into the needs and challenges faced by students at various educational levels. Both within the classroom and beyond, Ms. Pearce is an advocate for advancing the frontiers of knowledge in Cybersecurity. Her educational interests include Digital Forensics, Blockchain Technology, and Internet of Things (IoT) security, reflecting a commitment to staying ahead in the rapidly evolving field of Cybersecurity. Ms. Pearce is a veteran of the United States Army, having served during Desert Storm. This military background enriches the academic environment, infusing lessons with real-world perspectives and instilling a sense of discipline and commitment among students.
