Jeffrey Kropp

Bio

Mr. Jeff Kropp began his career in the United States Army and worked his way through an 18-year professional career in purchasing management within a variety of manufacturing companies in Northeast Wisconsin before transitioning to academia.  Having earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in management and human resource management, he has taught general business, management, human resources, marketing and supply chain courses at a variety of educational institutions in Southern Wisconsin (2015-2024), Southeast Missouri (2012-2015) and South-Central China (2010-2012) and now Texas where he serves as an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Alvarez College of Business' Department of Management.  He has also attained industry credentials in Supply Chain Management, Production Management and Project Management.

Professor Kropp is an avid course design enthusiast and enjoys using a variety of educational technologies in the learning environments he manages.  He has been recognized at a variety of institutions for outstanding student engagement, student organization advisor of the year by Business Professionals of America and as Teacher of the Month by Beloit Rotary Club for his innovative teaching practices.  He enjoys golf, downhill skiing, spending time with family and having lived a majority of his life in Wisconsin, is a proud cheesehead and supporter of the Green Bay Packers football team.  He looks forward to becoming a Road Runner and adapting to the Texas heat!
