Bio
Mr. Dan Karam retired from MUY Companies in 2021 when the company was sold to new ownership. MUY was a franchised restaurant company with over 750 locations that included well-known brands such as Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and Wendy’s. Prior to the company’s sale, Mr. Karam served as partner and Chief Information Officer for over 13 years. He was responsible for managing the company's Information Technology strategy, architecture, support and governance. His accountabilities included the technology for all of the company's restaurants and above-store leaders, as well as the company's headquarters.
Prior to joining MUY, Mr. Karam worked for 13 years at USAA. At USAA, Mr. Karam was a Lead Network Analyst in the Network Services department. His main responsibility was providing level 3 support for the company's network, as well as the e-commerce website. He also performed various project management, implementation and supervisory duties.
