Hunter Aku

Bio

Dr. Hunter Aku is an assistant professor of accounting at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Dr. Aku obtained her Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Oklahoma. Prior to obtaining her Ph.D. she worked at as a tax associate at Forvis Mazars. She holds a CPA license in the state of Missouri. Dr. Aku's research interests center on corporate taxation, with a specific focus on how taxes influence corporate decision-making.
