Bio
Dr. Binay Adhikari earned an MBA from Kathmandu University, Nepal, an M.S. in finance from Auburn University and a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Alabama. He has previously taught at the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley, Miami University of Ohio, University of Alabama and Kathmandu University. He also worked briefly as a cash supervisor at Standard Chartered Bank in Kathmandu, Nepal.
He has published in the Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and Journal of Corporate Finance. His research has been presented at the Financial Intermediation Research Society (FIRS), European Finance Association (EFA), Midwest Finance Association (MFA), China International Conference in Finance (CICF) and Financial Management Association (FMA) among others.
