Join us for lunch, networking and a presentation on Succession Planning by Joe Broschak, Chair of the Management Department and a researcher of organizational change and managers’ careers, who himself was hired from outside UTSA to succeed the previous department chairs.
The need for Managerial Succession is something that confronts virtually all organizations, from corporations to family businesses, to civic organizations and athletic teams. In this lunch and learn, alumni will learn about different kinds of succession events, important factors to consider in making succession decisions, and the steps (and some missteps) in the succession planning process.
Cost is $20.
