Accelerate your career with a dual MBA/MD degree program
Complement your medical training with the business and management education that will equip you to successfully manage the ever-changing business of healthcare and accelerate your career.
The MBA/MD program is a collaboration between UT Health Science Center San Antonio and the UTSA Carlos Alvarez College of Business. In the MBA/MD degree program, medical students and medical residents at UT Health San Antonio can transfer up to nine (9) credit hours taken in their medical program and satisfy some of the course requirements of the MBA program at UTSA.
Each student must be admitted to both the UTSA Carlos Alvarez College of Business Masters of Business Administration Program and UT Health Doctor of Medicine Program (current student or medical resident) in order to be eligible for the program.
