During your program, you’ll learn to protect and defend information and information systems by ensuring their availability, integrity, authentication and confidentiality. The college’s cyber security degree is offered both in the classroom and 100% online.
The UTSA cyber security program was ranked No. 1 in the nation by the Ponemon Institute. Our cyber security program was one of the first 34 schools in the nation, and the first in Texas, to be recognized as a Center for Academic Excellence in Information Assurance/Cyber Defense Education by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security.
