Nancy Kudla to Present UTSA College of Business Frost Distinguished Lecture

Nancy KudlaNancy Kudla, MBA ’87, president of the Kudla Foundation, will present the keynote address during The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Business Frost Distinguished Lecture. The lecture begins at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7 in the Richard S. Liu Auditorium (2.01.02) in the Business Building on the UTSA Main Campus. The event is free and open to the public.

A successful San Antonio businesswoman and entrepreneur, Kudla is president of the Kudla Foundation, a charitable organization promoting national security and leadership development. In addition, she is executive vice president for FNK Ventures, a family-owned business focusing on commercial real estate ownership and management.

Prior to establishing FNK Ventures, she was the co-founder, chairman and CEO of dNovus RDI, a federal contracting company specializing in applied information technology. Under her leadership, dNovus grew from a one-person consulting firm to one of the largest woman-owned businesses in San Antonio, employing more than 350 professionals nationwide and earning over $35 million in revenues before being acquired by Kforce Inc. for $38 million.

A member of the first graduating class of women from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Kudla earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and international affairs. In 1987, she earned her MBA from the UTSA College of Business and was recognized this year as the UTSA Distinguished Alumnus of the Year.

The Frost Distinguished Lecture Series brings prominent business and community leaders to UTSA to share their knowledge and experiences with students and others in the university and business community. The lecture series, which began in 1988, presents a forum for business leaders and academics to share their experiences in business so that students can broaden their understanding of the business world and the individuals who lead it.

Nationally ranked and recognized, the UTSA College of Business is accredited by AACSB International, The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. It is one of the 40 largest business schools in the nation with 6,000 enrolled students and 47 different graduate and undergraduate business programs.
