This hybrid course introduces valuable project management concepts and techniques to prepare you for future opportunities in project work. Introduction to Data Visualization

Saturday, Oct. 3 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Visualization tools such as graphs, dashboards and websites can be helpful to communicate data and positively influence business decisions. Develop systematic knowledge of best practices in visualization, and learn about popular database technologies, analytics technologies and common visualization and reporting technologies. Project Management Certification Preparation

Saturday, Oct. 10, 17 & 24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This workshop will prepare you for both the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification examination, and the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification examination. If you are applying to take the CAPM certification exam, this course satisfies the CAPM prerequisite of 23 hours of project management education. Sessions are led by Aaron DeWispelare, Ph.D., P.E., PMP, ACP.

Hybrid Course Delivery: 40 Contact Hours | $1,750

Cyber Security Analyst Training and Certification

Saturday, Nov. 7 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Experience hands-on training in real-time using examples of real-life scenarios that run in a live virtual Security Operation Center (SOC). During training, you will learn the tools and techniques used to investigate Windows and Linux devices and the network on which they reside. As part of this session, you will work as a team, divide monitoring tasks, investigate and mitigate simulated security incidents. Sessions are led by John Newsom, MSIT, who has extensive experience in cyber security.

This session builds on the theory and concepts presented in the Introduction to Data Analytics. Gain knowledge of the capabilities and underlying mechanics of popular machine learning algorithms that can be used to solve a variety of real business problems. Discuss the limitations and assumptions behind the models, to help guide the appropriate selection of algorithms and tools. Sessions are led by analytics expert Wenbo Wu, Ph.D.
