Are you a full-time M.S. or Ph.D. student who is planning, or working on a data science and/or cyber security research project?
You could win a $4,000 award by submitting your research proposal to the Cyber Center for Security and Analytics in the Carlos Alvarez College of Business.
Three awards are available at the following levels: $4,000, $2,000 and $1,000. A multidisciplinary committee of data science and cyber security faculty will evaluate proposals and all full-time M.S. or Ph.D. students at UTSA are eligible to participate.
For award consideration, student must submit a single PDF application package via email to cybercenter@utsa.edu by Monday, Feb. 14, 2022. Your PDF should include these materials:
-CV
-Maximum one-page, single-spaced proposal to describe the proposed or current research project in the following format: Introduction/Motivation, Research Questions, Proposed Approach and Evaluation and Significance
-Unofficial Transcript, and
-Letter of Recommendation from a faculty member who will oversee or is currently involved in the proposal.
