Join John F. Petrie III as he shares his successes and struggles transitioning from military service to the corporate world. Petrie will share his career journey in information and cyber security, his lessons learned and some of the philosophical views that he developed during his career transition. At the end of the session, participants will engage in question and answer.

Biography

In his current role, Petrie focuses on industry outreach, internal cybersecurity, cybersecurity transformation and harmonizing cybersecurity processes and solutions for the 900+ companies of NTT worldwide. Petrie’s previous experience includes senior leadership roles at IBM, Harland Clarke and The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Petrie received an MBA in Information Systems from City University, a Bachelor’s of Science in Liberal Arts from the University of the State of New York and is a graduate of the Defense Intelligence College in Washington D.C.
