Entrepreneur Gary Hoover to Present M.B.A. Signature Series Lecture April 27

Gary Hoover, founder of Hoover’s.com, will present “The Eight Keys to Building a Lasting Enterprise” during the M.B.A. Association Signature Series at 7 p.m. April 27 in the University Room (2.06.04) in the Business Building at the University of Texas at San Antonio 1604 Campus. The event is sponsored by the M.B.A. Association and is free and open to the public.

Entrepreneur Gary Hoover will highlight the results from his quest to determine what separates winners from losers and the reasons for lasting success in all types of enterprise. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Hoover was a retail securities analyst on Wall Street and a manager of strategic planning for May Department Stores. He created BOOKSTOP, the nation’s first book superstore chain, which was purchased by Barnes & Noble. Following this venture, he launched Hoover’s.com, a leader in the electronic distribution of corporate information on the Internet. His vision has changed the way America shops and does business research.
