How can I find contact information for business faculty?

Visit the Carlos Alvarez College of Business directory to find phone numbers, office locations and emails for all business faculty members and staff.

Where can I find the college's Graduate Studies Office?

The Graduate Studies office is located in Business Building Room 4.01.18. The office is open from Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Is there a places for graduate students to socialize or study?

Yes, the college’s Graduate Business Student Commons is located in Business Building Room 3.04.09. Graduate students can access the lounge using their student identification card.

Do you offer international experiences for graduate students?

Do you offer assistantship positions?

Teaching and Graduate Research Assistantships are offered on a competitive basis. The standard appointment is approximately $3,000 per semester and students work 19 hours per week.

Are scholarships available?

Numerous scholarship opportunities exist in the Carlos Alvarez College of Business. Currently, the college annually awards over 175 scholarships totaling more than $200,000 each year to undergraduate and graduate students.

Where can I get information about ID Cards and parking?

Current students, staff and faculty can get their UTSAcard either in-person or online. Visit the Campus Services website for more information.

Where is the bookstore?

The campus bookstore is located on the first floor of the Student Union building on Main Campus. Online purchases made through the Bookstore website can be picked up in-store or shipped.

How can I apply for financial aid?

The One Stop office (onestop.utsa.edu/financialaid) can help you with applying for aid, understanding the types of aid available and receiving your offered funds.

What hours are campus food services open?

What technology requirements are there for business students?

Every class in the Carlos Alvarez College of Business requires computer access for course-related activities. For more information visit the college’s Technology Requirements website.

Where can I print?

You can print out your documents in the BB Computer Lab. While you are there, ask about PrintSpot services. This allows you to send your printouts to printers located around campus. It’s a cool feature so you don’t always have to go to a computer lab to print something.

How do I use Blackboard?

How can I prepare for online learning?

View the Student Guide to Online Learning. This course will help you get setup with the latest digital tools, provide you with tips from other Roadrunners and help you get a better idea of what to expect this semester.
