Update: UTSA's ongoing monitoring of the Coronavirus outbreak

What is CliftonStrengths for Students?

CliftonStrengths for Students (formerly StrengthsQuest) helps students grow confident in who they are, and how they can contribute to the world.

It’s an educational program that uses Gallup’s world-renowned CliftonStrengths assessment to measure 34 research-validated talent themes. It then guides the development of those talents into strengths with resources tailored for students.

More than 22 million people know what makes them unique and how their strengths shape their approach to work, decision-making, relationships, and more.

A limited number of assessments are available for free to UTSA business students.

Email cspd@utsa.edu to request to take the assessment.

Take the CliftonStrengths assessment and discover your themes!

CliftonStrengths Assessment Tool ImageWhen you take the CliftonStrengths assessment, you uncover your unique combination of 34 CliftonStrengths themes. The themes, which sort into four domains, are a culmination of decades of research led by Don Clifton to study and categorize the talents of the world’s most successful people.

Together, the themes explain a simple but profound element of human behavior: what’s right with people. Individually, each theme gives you a way to describe what you naturally do best or what you might need help from others to accomplish.
