Hear from top business faculty as they “Unlock Business Research” during the UTSA College of Business Research Showcase on Thursday, Nov. 6. The event begins at 3:30 p.m. in Business Building Room 2.06.04.
The showcase highlights the applied research of business faculty members. Topics include such diverse areas as auction fever, destructive leadership, insider threat and superstar software in the video game industry. The event concludes with a reception at 6 p.m.
Presenters include Suman Basuroy, professor of marketing; Nicole Beebe, associate professor of cyber security; Karan Bhanot, professor of finance; Rajesh Bhargave, assistant professor of marketing; Dina Krasikova, assistant professor of management; and Matthew McCarter, assistant professor of management.
“The goal for this research showcase is to present top-tier research in a non-technical and jargon free manner,” said Hamid Beladi, associate dean of research in the college. “We encourage business leaders, patrons and UTSA stakeholders to participate in this forum which will build and strengthen relationships between UTSA College of Business faculty and the local community.”
