College of Business Honors Graduating Seniors During Recognition Ceremony
The College of Business honored graduating seniors during a recognition ceremony May 13 in the Liu Auditorium. The event was held to recognize students who were honors graduates, student leaders and 100 Best Business Students.
As a group, the 80 honorees represented the top 10 percent of all College of Business graduating undergraduates.
“I’m proud of all of the accomplishments of our students,” said Daniel Hollas, interim dean of the College of Business. “While one chapter in your career here at UTSA has come to a close, I’d like to encourage you to continue to support your alma mater by participating in the UTSA Alumni Association, supporting College of Business events and activities and attending Roadrunner football games.”
Management major Justin Quin was named the recipient of the Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship Key, which recognizes the graduating student in the College of Business with the highest cumulative academic average. Justin, who had a 4.0 grade point average, was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma.
Honorees walked the stage with their respective departments and were given the opportunity to thank those who contributed to their success at UTSA. Student leaders and honors graduates received a UTSA College of Business lapel pin, and 100 Best Business Students were presented with a medallion. Following the ceremony, participants celebrated with their families at a reception held prior to the commencement ceremony.
