Accounting Various Donors Scholarship
Award: Number of awards and amounts vary

  • Declared major in accounting at the undergraduate or graduate level
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average and a minimum 3.0 in major coursework including at least one upper-division accounting course
  • Preference given to applicant who has completed at least one semester of study at UTSA
  • Must be enrolled for at least 12 or more semester credit hours in the fall and spring as an undergraduate or at least 9 or more semester credit hours in the fall and spring as a graduate

Judy and James Adams Endowed Scholarship

  • Pursuing a degree in the College of Business at the undergraduate level
  • Minimum 2.75 cumulative grade point average
  • Preference given to students demonstrating the greatest financial need

Boeing Scholarship
Award: Number and amount of awards vary

  • Pursuing a degree in the College of Business at the undergraduate or graduate level with an emphasis on underrepresented and economically disadvantaged students
  • Minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average
  • Must possess excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Preference will be given to applicants with an interest in aerospace/defense or the cyber security industry and recipients will be encouraged to apply for a Boeing summer internship
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis for other than training purposes (student/temporary visas do not qualify)
  • Must be enrolled full time

Jane Bonham Endowed Memorial Scholarship

Neil Denton Endowed Scholarship

Enterprise Architecture Scholarship in the College of Business

  • Declared information systems or infrastructure assurance major at the undergraduate level or above in the College of Business
  • Must have completed a minimum of 60 semester credit hours
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average
  • Must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis utilizing a work authorization that does not require sponsorship
  • Recipient will be expected to acknowledge scholarship by attending event of the Enterprise Architecture Forum
  • Must be enrolled full time

Ernst & Young Accounting Scholarship
Award: Five awards of $1,000 first award year and $3,000 second award year

  • Declared accounting major in their fourth year of study [first year of the Master of Accountancy (MACY) Program]
  • Applications must be submitted during the third year of study for awarding in the fourth year of study
  • Must demonstrate leadership experience
  • Preference will be given to students from populations that are demonstrably underrepresented in the accounting profession
  • Minimum 3.4 grade point average with no grade below “B” in accounting courses.
  • Must be enrolled for at least 9 or more semester credit hours during the award period

Farm Credit Bank of Texas Annual Business Scholarship

  • Declared undergraduate finance, accounting, management or marketing major in the College of Business
  • Undergraduates must have completed a minimum of 30 semester credit hours

Willard H. Findling, CPA , Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Accounting

  • Declared graduate major in the Master’s of Accountancy program in the College of Business
  • Recipient(s) must be in their final year of study during the year in which the award is disbursed
  • Recipient(s) must be planning to sit for their CPA license exam and plan to enter the accounting profession

  • Recipient(s) will be expected to acknowledge receipt of the award by attending the annual College of Business Scholarship Reception

International Facility Management Association-San Antonio Chapter Endowed Scholarship

  • Declared major in the real estate financial and development program at the undergraduate level
  • Strong preference will be given to applicants minoring in facility and property management or applicants who have completed or are taking courses FM 4303 and/or FM 4313 or similar/successor courses
  • Preference will be given to those demonstrating financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid
  • Preference will be given to applicants who are residents of San Antonio

Quincy Lee Memorial Endowed Scholarship

  • Declared major in the College of Business at the undergraduate level
  • Must have completed a minimum of 80 semester credit hours
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average
  • ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT: Must submit a written essay on business ethics, approximately two pages double-spaced, to be judged by a joint committee of College of Business and San Antonio Real Estate Council representatives
  • Preference given to applicants who have completed business ethics and principles of real estate and who have enrolled in mortgage banking and real estate finance
  • Must be enrolled for at least 12 or more semester credit hours in the fall and spring

Presidential Scholarship
Award: $1,000 per year; number of awards vary

  • Pursuing a degree in the College of Business at the undergraduate or graduate level
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average or minimum SAT Score of 1090 and/or a minimum ACT Score of 24 for entering freshmen
  • Must be enrolled for at least 12 or more semester credit hours in the fall and spring as an undergraduate or at least 9 or more semester credit hours in the fall and spring as a graduate

Real Estate Council of San Antonio Leadership Development Endowment
Award: Number and amount of awards vary

  • Pursuing a degree in real estate finance and development (or its equivalent) at the undergraduate or graduate level
  • Undergraduates must have completed a minimum 60 semester credit hours
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average
  • Must demonstrate leadership in campus and community activities
  • Preference will be given to students who can demonstrate leadership activities related to the Real Estate Finance and Development Program and those students whose career goals are consistent with the advancement of San Antonio’s business community
  • Must attach a letter of recommendation from either a Real Estate Finance and Development faculty member or preferably from someone in the real estate industry who can speak knowledgeably of the applicant’s career goals and/or real estate industry experience
  • Must be enrolled for at least 12 or more semester credit hours in the fall and spring as an undergraduate or at least 9 or more semester credit hours in the fall and spring as a graduate
  • Recipient will agree to attend an official award ceremony presented by the donor at the time and place agreed to by the donor and the recipient

San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Business Scholarship

San Antonio Hotel & Lodging Association Endowed Tourism Management Scholarship

  • Pursuing a major in sport, event and tourism management in the College of Business
  • Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average
  • Preference will be given to applicants who are currently working or have worked in the accommodations industry
  • Must be enrolled for at least 9 or more semester credit hours in the fall and spring

San Antonio Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors Accounting Annual Scholarship
Award: One award of $1,500 per year

  • Declared major in accounting at the undergraduate or graduate level
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average
  • Must demonstrate educational course commitment to pursue a career in an audit or forensic related field
  • Recipient(s) will be encouraged to pursue a research project that furthers the internal audit profession
  • Must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid
  • Must be enrolled for at least 12 or more semester credit hours in the fall and spring as an undergraduate or at least 9 or more semester credit hours in the fall and spring as a graduate

SIOR South Texas Chapter Annual Scholarship
Award: $3,000 to be awarded to one or more students

  • Declared major in the College of Business at the undergraduate level
  • Must be pursuing a career in real estate with an emphasis in commercial real estate
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average
  • Must be enrolled full time

Southwest Actuarial Forum Scholarship
Award: One award of $1,500 a year

  • Declared major in actuarial science at the undergraduate level in the College of Business or the equivalent at the graduate level
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average (on a scale of 4.0)
  • Recipient must have credit for at least one actuarial (CAS/SOA) exam
  • Must be enrolled for at least 12 or more semester credit hours in the fall and spring--an exception to full-time enrollment requirement may be made during the last semester of study prior to the recipient's graduation, provided the student is enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours
  • Recipient will agree to attend an official award ceremony presented by the donor at the time and place agreed to by the donor and the recipient

Jack Terrell Memorial Endowed Scholarship

USAA Foundation Scholarship

Award: Number and amount of awards vary

  • Must be a declared undergraduate human resource management major in the College of Business
  • Must have completed a minimum of 60 semester credit hours
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average
  • Must be enrolled for at least 12 or more semester credit hours in the fall and spring

Dr. and Mrs. Robert V. West, Jr. Endowed Leadership Scholarship
Award: Number and amount of awards vary

  • Pursuing a degree in the College of Business at the undergraduate or graduate level
  • Must have completed a minimum of 60 semester credit hours as an undergraduate
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average
  • Preference will be given to participants in the Leadership Challenge Program in the College of Business (if not possible, then general leadership qualities of business students will be considered)
  • Must be enrolled for at least 12 or more semester credit hours in the fall and spring as an undergraduate or at least 9 or more semester credit hours in the fall and spring as a graduate

Westin La Cantera Resort Endowed Tourism Management Scholarship
Award: Number and amount of awards vary

  • Pursing a major in sport, event and tourism management in the College of Business
  • Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average
  • Must be enrolled for at least 9 or more semester credit hours in the fall and spring
