Handshake is the university database through which students can search for internships, co-ops and job possibilities. Handshake gives students the opportunity to review openings and submit their application materials. Some employers however, will want you to submit applications through their company website. Handshake also announces all on-campus professional development workshops and gives students information about upcoming career events.
To access Handshake: Log on to the University Career Center website. The Handshake link in the moving slideshow will take you to the instruction page. Follow instructions to create a Handshake account.
Any further questions about Handshake can be directed to the Center for Student Professional Development at (210) 458-4039 or in person at BB 2.01.08.
