Eta Sigma Delta
Tourism majors who maintain a 3.0 overall G.P.A. and who have also earned junior status will be invited into membership in Eta Sigma Delta. This international honor society, with more than 90 chapters worldwide, was formed to recognize tourism students for their outstanding academic achievement, meritorious service and demonstrated professionalism.
During a special candle lighting initiation ceremony, students receive an Eta Sigma Delta membership certificate and pin, and honor cord that may be worn during their graduation signifying their academic achievement.
In an increasingly competitive industry, students that are accepted into Eta Sigma Delta, distinguish themselves in the eyes of educators, recruiters and industry executives.
