 The UTSA Statistical Consulting Center operates within the Department of Management Science and Statistics in the College of Business. The center provides statistical consulting services to UTSA faculty, staff and students, as well as researchers in the community. Non-credit short courses on various statistical topics, including statistical programming, are offered periodically. Faculty members from the Department of Management Science and Statistics participate in the statistical research and education services provided by the center.
The consulting center offers a unique opportunity for local researchers to obtain low cost professional statistical advice and services on various aspects of research, including data management and analysis, interpretation and reporting of results, and statistical programming.
Our staff consists of Ph.D. students in Applied Statistics, under the supervision of Management Science and Statistics faculty.
SCC Workshops and Clinics
The Statistical Consulting Center will periodically offer short courses on a variety of different statistical topics, including statistical programming using packages such as SAS® and SPSS®. The SCC offers these workshops with the aim of providing researchers and students with the basic statistical tools for inputting, describing and analyzing data.
Special rates will be available for UTSA faculty, staff and students.
