The UTSA Statistical Consulting Center operates within the Department of Management Science and Statistics in the College of Business. The center provides statistical consulting services to UTSA faculty, staff and students, as well as individuals in the community.

Non-credit short courses on various statistical topics, including statistical programming, are offered periodically. Faculty members from the Department of Management Science and Statistics participate in the statistical research and education services provided by the center.

The consulting center offers a unique opportunity for individuals to obtain statistical consultation and services on various aspects of research, including research design, instrument development, data management and analysis, interpretation and reporting of results, and statistical programming.

Our staff consists of Ph.D. students in Applied Statistics, under the supervision of Management Science and Statistics faculty. After the first free consultation, rates vary based on whether you are affiliated with UTSA and if you elect to work with a faculty member or a Ph.D. student. For UTSA affiliates, rates vary from $35 to $80 per hour, whereas rates for non-UTSA affiliates range from $50 to $150 per hour.
