Information Systems Hires Three New Faculty

Three new faculty members have been hired in the Department of Information Systems in the College of Business. One will start this spring, with the additional hires beginning next fall.

John Warren, assistant professor, will begin his duties this semester. Warren earned his doctorate in management of information systems from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His teaching interests are database design and management, system analysis and programming languages.

Assistant Professors Huoy Min Khoo and Myung Ko will join the College of Business faculty in Fall 2003. Khoo is completing her doctorate in computer information systems from Georgia State University. She received her master's degree in business administration from Mississippi State University and her bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Mississippi.

Ko's research interests include data mining, data warehousing and decision support systems. She is completing her doctorate in information systems from Virginia Commonwealth University. She holds a master's degree in accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University and a bachelor's in business administration from the University of Washington.
