College of Business Graduate Student Receives
Texas Business Hall of Fame Scholarship

A UTSA graduate student in the master of business administration program
was awarded the Texas Business Hall of Fame Foundation Scholarship.
College of Business graduate student Ann Rastorfer was awarded the $5,000
scholarship Oct. 16 during the annual awards dinner in Dallas. Rastorfer,
who maintains a 4.0 grade point average, is a business development manager
for H-E-B grocery. This is the 15th consecutive year a UTSA student has
been awarded this scholarship.
Scholarship recipients must demonstrate leadership traits in academic
and campus activities, a propensity for entrepreneurial achievement and
outstanding moral character.
The Texas Business Hall of Fame recognizes members of the state’s
business community who have made outstanding contributions in their field
and raises funds to support students in MBA programs throughout the state.
To date, it has awarded more than $1 million in scholarships.
