Business NewsCenter for Professional Excellence Hosting Information Session for Business Foundations Program—June 6, 2001 The Center for Professional Excellence in the College of Business is hosting an information session for its Business Foundations program at 6 p.m. June 12 in Room 1.01.20 in the Business Building. Business Foundations is a six-month certificate program designed to provide participants with the basic knowledge and skill competencies required to develop a business mindset. It explores the business model in a strategic context while integrating functional perspectives, stakeholder relationships and leadership challenges. The program is held on the weekend and includes 96 hours of core instruction. Classes begin July 14 and run through Dec. 4. UTSA's College of Business is accredited by AACSB International, The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. It is one of the 40 largest business schools in the nation with more than 4,400 enrolled students and 34 different graduate and undergraduate business programs.
