Personal Financial Planning Program
—August 8, 2001
The College of Business Center for Professional Excellence is hosting
an information session for its Personal Financial Planning certificate
program at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 21 in Room 1.01.20 of the Business Building.
The 14-month Personal Financial Planning program curriculum was designed
by UTSA and Dalton Publications, a leading provider in live instructional
reviews. Michael Dalton, associate professor of accounting at Loyola University
and author of the "Dalton CFP Review," will attend the session.
The program provides students with a theoretical and conceptual foundation
needed for the practice of financial planning. The program covers 108
integrated financial planning topics prescribed by the Certified Financial
Planning Board and satisfies the educational requirement needed prior
to taking the CFP certification exam.
The program is held during the weekend and classes begin Sept. 15.
For more information or to make reservations for the information session,
contact Matilda Gawf at (210) 458-4874 or visit their Web site at http://cpe.utsa.edu/.
