If you've been tasked with creating a new communications project for your department, please contact the communications director for assistance. She can help craft your editorial message, provide advice on design and printing vendors and give guidance on how your project can integrate with college-wide communications.
In order to remain consistent with our brand identity and to ensure high quality, all projects in these areas are subject to review and approval.
All communication pieces such as brochures, newsletters, advertisements or websites must be reviewed and approved by the department chair, communications director and dean.
Please allow five working days to review short pieces, such as postcards, posters and flyers, and seven working days for longer pieces, such as brochures, programs or newsletters.
When submitting a proof to the Dean's Office for approval, please complete this form.
The college advertising outlets include billboards, print ads, radio and electronic media. Advertising is utilized for student recruitment, faculty recruitment as well as event promotion.
To help promote activities within your department, communication outlets include

â€¢ Business Update (cob e-mail newsletter),
â€¢ Sombrilla (university magazine),
â€¢ College of Business Annual Report,
â€¢ Social Media, and
The communications director can also assist with supplying artwork, organizing photo shoots and working with vendors for promotional materials.
Faculty are occasionally called upon to serve as resources for local, regional and national media. All college news release will emanate from the University Communications Office.
