UTSA College of Business Launching Two New Graduate Certificates in the Business of Health and Technology Entrepreneurship

The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) College of Business is launching two new graduate certificate programs this fall in the business of health and technology entrepreneurship.
The 12-credit hour graduate certificate in the business of health was designed to equip health care and business professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to lead in today’s rapidly changing health care environment. The certificate program provides a blend of financial, management, regulatory, legal and policy oriented courses. The program focuses on the applied financial and managerial aspects of health care.
Coursework includes a Seminar in Medicare Regulation, Legal and Tax Strategies for Healthcare Organizations, Healthcare Management and an elective in areas such as health care accounting, ethics, or economics.
The 12-hour graduate certificate in technology entrepreneurship and management will help individuals understand entrepreneurial context and unlock their inner entrepreneur. The courses will equip graduates with fundamental technology entrepreneurship and management skills. Coursework includes Building Enterprise Equity, Essentials of Project Management, Entrepreneurial Business Finance and Starting the High Tech Firm.
Candidates can apply for these graduate certificates by enrolling at UTSA as a special non-degree seeking graduate student. Current UTSA graduate students can earn the certificate as part of their degree of study. Students will pay the graduate tuition rate to participate.
