Olivia W. Lin is a doctoral student in marketing at The University of Texas at San Antonio. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and an M.B.A. from University of Missouri-Columbia, and an M.S. in integrated marketing communications from Northwestern University. Her current research interests include investigating consumers’ responses to self-threats and the impact of self-construal on consumption behavior. Olivia previously work as a manager in the marketing, operations and customer services areas for Grand Hyatt Taipei, Reader's Digest and a telecom company in Taiwan.
