Marketing is an essential component of any business organization that seeks to make a profit and, as well, can contribute to the success of non-profit organizations. It begins with understanding the wants and desires of prospective customers and helping the firm to develop innovative and competitive offerings that will deliver customer satisfaction. Once this is accomplished, marketing is also responsible for pricing, distribution and promotion of the firm’s brand offerings.
The marketing faculty at UTSA are committed to developing new knowledge that will benefit business organizations, nonprofit organizations, consumers and society and conveying this new knowledge to students.
